Benidorm Beach Luxury Apartment

The staff at reception, in the dining areas, and at the bars were superb, accommodating, and always smiling. We had a great stay and would book again when we return. The hotel is modern and welcoming, right on the beachfront. Our side room was a good size and layout with a small sea view. They offered us an upgrade to a front room for 50 euros a night, which we passed on. The buffet breakfast had a huge range of hot and cold food, with the usual queues at the tea and coffee machines. Dinner was varied and tasted great. Drinks are extra and charged to your room, but we tried some menu meals for an additional charge in a nearby area, and that was a great choice. The rooftop pool and bar were well kept and get plenty of sun. The room was serviced well, though tea, coffee, and similar supplies were often not replenished. Towels for the pool required a 20 euro deposit charged to the room, refunded when returned. The hotel is on the beach, where loungers are available from other providers for 6 euros a day. There was a little building work next door in April 26, which made some noise but didn’t spoil the holiday.

Breakfast was faultless: excellent, spotlessly clean, a massive choice, and all the hot food was hot. The staff kept cleaning and were helpful whenever we needed anything. I only had breakfast, so that’s all I can comment on. The hotel’s in a superb spot right on the beach, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The rooftop bar has great 360 views across benidorm. The old town is a five-minute walk away, with good food and countless bars and shops. I spent five days here.

We had a good stay overall and made the best of it, though the room was disappointing. It looked straight at a concrete wall, an overbearing and pretty awful view. We didn’t spend much time in the room since we had places to explore. The rooftop pool and bar have brilliant views. It was busy, but we could always find a sunbed or at least some chairs. The pool water looked a bit cloudy by the end of the day. Rooms were clean and well equipped, and after we reported problems with the aircon and TV, reception got them fixed. Still, having them not work properly made our first night uncomfortable. The glass partition between rooms could be climbed over easily, and the terrace partitions didn’t feel very private. The location is great, right on the beach and close to the old town. Breakfast had lots of fresh food and a good choice. Just got back from a four-night stay at barcelo benidorm beach.

Vitorino at reception made me feel very welcome from the start. He was professional, friendly, attentive, and always had a smile and a great attitude. He went above and beyond to help make sure everything was perfect, and his service made a real difference to my stay. Vito is an excellent receptionist and a real asset to the hotel. I hope his managers recognize how well he does his job. I had a wonderful stay at Barceló Benidorm Beach, and highly recommend the hotel.
