The pools and large gym were great, and breakfast was fantastic. The facilities were clean apart from dog poop on a walkway. Still, for a five-star resort, the little issues so far have made this trip frustrating. Our first villa was dirty. There was rubbish with diapers left in the kitchen, the bathroom was dirty, and the toilet didn’t flush properly. They changed our villa without hesitation when we asked, but there was no cart service or help with bags. The bedroom also has no door, so the whole villa is open plan. That’s a problem if you’re staying with others and some people get up early while others don’t. There’s no streaming on any of the resort TVs. It’s hard to understand why, and reception said it sounded like streaming had been disabled on purpose, even though the TVs are Wi-Fi compatible. The website should say what’s open and closed. In the off season, when it can still be 27 or 29 degrees, some pools are closed, along with the market and cafe. One day we weren’t allowed into the hotel for breakfast, and nobody had told us. The mini market is a joke, with maybe 15 items. I don’t understand why there isn’t more choice of snacks, toiletries and gifts.

We had a wonderful holiday, with breathtaking views over Benidorm from this beautiful place away from the city madness. All the staff helped us feel relaxed and made sure we had what we needed, from transport between the villas and hotel to the bar team, breakfast staff and front desk. I’d definitely return in the near future. The only letdowns were that the spa didn’t have treatments and the theme park wasn’t open during our stay, even though these were promised when we booked.

The villas are great and have everything you need to be self-sufficient. Breakfast was included at the hotel, but most mornings we made our own in the kitchen. The kids loved having a little private pool with the villa.

The hotel is beautiful, but the bathroom mould needs attention. The restaurant wasn’t open on either evening, so we had to eat from the bar menu, which had very limited choices. That’s not good enough for a four-star hotel, and we won’t be coming back.

It’s a bit pricey, but I think it’s fair if you’re planning to visit all the parks included with the stay: Aqualandia, Mundomar and Terra Mitica. We spent three days, two nights, in a Pool Villa with Sea View. Each day we could visit one of the parks, and the kids loved the small private pool. Breakfast was good, and the Luxor Village area was clean and tidy when we visited in June 2024. Terra Mitica is within walking distance, while the other two attractions are about a 15-minute drive away. It was an adventurous stay, and I highly recommend it for families. We were there with me, my wife and our three kids.
