The toast came with packaged ham, with salt shakers sitting right beside it. There was also a cockroach decorating the bar. For breakfast for four, listed at €4.30 each, we were charged €17.90.

A handy hotel stop for a good breakfast or whatever you feel like having, whether you're heading into the Sierra de Huelva or coming back out.

We had a quiet lunch out on the terrace, and all four of us really enjoyed it. The menu and drinks were very reasonably priced. Since it's right off the highway beside a gas station, we pulled in for lunch. We'll definitely come back.

There's usually plenty of parking, but the prices are high, especially since the ham isn't as good as at the place next door, Las Cupelas. I don't know why it was closed, or we wouldn't have stopped here. Sunday morning was crowded with bikers, locals, and hunters, yet there was just one waiter and the kitchen was struggling. Our toast arrived late and burnt, and the service left a lot to be desired.
