Pazo de Laia - Adults Only

The facilities included a gym and a 15-seat movie theater with an amazing sound system and a huge collection of international films. Our spacious room felt like a whole apartment, with heaters, comfortable sofas, lavishly furnished beds, and a nicely heated interior. The rooms were luxuriously decorated, and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Service was excellent and attentive, especially from Nyon. Dinner was delicious, with Indian curry, Briyani rice, and bread. Full credit to Nyon. I highly recommend Pazo de Laia if you're doing the Camino de Santiago, especially once the newly renovated stable rooms are ready.

It felt like a home away from home, and I was made to feel like family. I've stayed in many Paradors, but this was the most beautiful room and by far the friendliest staff. I'm grateful I got to stay here and can't recommend this hotel enough.

They picked us up from Palas de Rei and brought us back the next day, a wonderful treat after a long day on the Camino. The place is beautiful, with a lovely patio for sitting in the sun. Our rooms were incredibly comfortable and cosy, and dinner was delicious. The service was impeccable. I'll definitely recommend it to friends.

The people running Pazo de Laia are lovely, but the stay feels rather eccentric and needs some refinement. Breakfast is simple, with far too much processed food. Sound can also be an issue if you're not there as a private group, since the sound insulation is minimal.
