Limehome Benidorm Calle Major

I wasn't sure about this hotel before arriving, but it turned out to be a hidden gem. It's close to restaurants and a viewpoint, while still being quiet enough for a good night's sleep. Online check-in was easy, and the clean room looked just like the website photos. The bed and pillows were superb. All questions and contact happen online, but replies came quickly. They also replenished the good coffee pods when I ran out. The cleaning lady was sweet and friendly. The rooftop pool was closed for winter, but she let me come up with her to take photos. I made sure to follow her back inside when she finished her errands. A couple of things could be better: there's no shower curtain, so the floor gets wet, and there are no racks for wet towels or hooks for handbags. I'd definitely recommend staying here, and will try this hotel in other locations.

The breakfast was decent and the WiFi worked very well. This is a handy base for a city break, just two minutes from tapas alley and close to the beach. Nothing fancy, but everything was very clean, with a comfortable bed and big, soft towels.

We heard no noise from outside, and the central location was great. The bed was large and comfortable, with modern facilities and an excellent shower. The only drawbacks were the very small bathroom and thin walls. I'm a light sleeper, so it was good that they provide ear buds.

I booked quite late and had no idea what to expect, but it was a great find. My fifth-floor room had a balcony with a lovely view of the beachfront and sea, even though the building is a couple of streets back. The room itself was modern and spotless, and the location was superb for me, with excellent value. There isn't a staffed reception, and the only employees I saw were the cleaners and the people in the breakfast room. If you want the traditional hotel services, this may not suit you. But as a clean, modern base for exploring the old town, not too far from the new town, Limehome worked really well. I hadn't seen the option before, but you can scan a QR code on the TV to use your own Netflix or YouTube account. I wasn't there to watch TV, though.
