Hotel Mediterraneo Benidorm

We had a really enjoyable week here, with lovely staff, spacious rooms cleaned daily, and amazing food and cocktails. The only reason I’m giving it four out of five is the cards you have to hand over every time you want a drink or snack. That got a bit annoying.

Our 1.5-year-old son loved the children’s pool. The water was warm, clean and safe for little ones, which made it a great family facility. We also found the room spacious, comfortable and well kept, and the whole property was spotless. Service was excellent throughout, with staff who were kind, attentive and welcoming. Meals stayed interesting because the menu changed daily and offered lots of variety. I mainly eat vegetables and chicken and always found plenty of tasty options. It made for a relaxing, memorable family holiday, and I’d recommend the hotel.

Hotel Mediterraneo has a calm, relaxing feel, with lovely views and a great location. We felt well looked after by the genuinely warm, welcoming staff. Our room was comfortable and spotless. I’d happily return and recommend it.

We live an hour away and usually book one night here for a show at Benidorm palace. This time we stayed an extra night for various reasons. Our half-board booking meant we checked in, parked in the underground car park and headed straight for the buffet lunch. The food feels stuck in a time warp, but there’s lots of choice for families and the salad bar is great. The bedrooms are very spacious, with plenty of drawer and wardrobe space and hangers. The pool is amazing, and it’s reasonably quiet at the moment since we’re here out of season. I think it would be packed with families and children in season.
