Medplaya Hotel Riudor - Adults Only

This is our favourite of the many Med Playa hotels we've stayed at. It's a lovely place and exceptionally clean, but the staff are what make a stay here so wonderful. From arrival to departure, they go above and beyond and are super friendly. There are so many people who make a difference, but a few names we want to mention are Saray and Anwar on reception, Martha, Lola, Denia and Seema. Well done and thank you to all of you. We're looking forward to seeing you again next year.

We'd asked for a low floor and got the first floor. The room was spotless and cleaned every day, and breakfast was excellent, nicely presented and with plenty of choice. The bar drinks were well priced, probably cheaper than nearby bars and clubs, and the bar, reception and cleaning teams were all friendly and smiling. When we got home, we realised we'd left a spare car key in the safe. I emailed the hotel and they searched for it, then promptly confirmed they'd found it and arranged to return it safely. Excellent service. We'll always use this hotel when visiting Benidorm and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

I really enjoyed my break at the medplayer riudor, even if I enjoyed Benidorm itself less. The hotel is spotless and modern, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Both breakfast and dinner had plenty of variety, and honestly the food was much better than what you'll find nearby. The location works if you want to spend every minute among the endless bars and kebab shops. But the beach is just a five-minute stroll away, with some nice beachfront restaurants and bars that are less all about 'lager lager lager'. The rooms were clean and well kept, though I wish they'd been a bit bigger, balconies included. It was March so I didn't use the pool, but the area looked nice and spacious.

We stayed four nights on a half-board basis. Breakfast was lovely and, though we're not fussy eaters, we always found something at dinner. The food was warm rather than hot, but there was a microwave to heat it up. Drinks at the hotel were reasonably priced, and they had evening entertainment, though we didn't stay to see it. Our room on the 8th floor faced the bars, so we were worried about music keeping us awake. With the door shut, we honestly couldn't hear a thing. The Regente was spotless, and the room was spacious and nicely decorated. Would we go again? 100%.
