Hotel Montemar Benidorm

Waking up to the view over the beach and harbour from our sea-view room was amazing. There's some early morning noise from delivery vans and buses. The rooms are basic, with no fridge or brewing facilities, though a fridge would be useful just for keeping water. The shower and hair dryer were powerful, and the maid service brought fresh towels every day. The rooftop terrace is open all day for sunbathing, but only three deck chairs are comfortable; the others are hard chairs. Its bar opens at 4:30 and serves a wide range of beers and cocktails. Staff are all very friendly. Breakfast runs from 8 to 10:30, with a wide range of options, and the lounge is a nice size, although very loud and busy. The hotel is right on the beach, opposite steps down to poniente beach, a children's play area, and a bus stop. Bars, restaurants, and shops in the old town are right nearby. You can see the harbour, a short stroll away, with plenty of boat tours and water sports. Great hotel, we'll definitely stay again.

We always book the VIP rooms when we come, and the sea-view rooms have lovely views. The staff are friendly and helpful, and it's in a great location. Lovely hotel, highly recommend.

The hotel is in the old town, and the roof terrace has excellent views of the beach. Everything was very clean, and our 10-night stay at Montemar hotel Benidorm made our holiday perfect. The staff were fantastic, friendly, and helpful, with nothing too much trouble for them. My partner and I will rebook in the future.

After my friends invited me for a drink on the roof terrace, I was very pleasantly surprised. The whole front was glass, with lovely tables and chairs, great service, and a view to die for. They then showed me their room, which had a lovely terrace, a comfortable settee, and a TV that must have been at least 42". There was also a lovely dining room with evening entertainment, all looking out over the marina, park, and Poniente beach. I'd highly recommend it.
