Albergue Turistico La Casa de Mi Abuela - Hostel

The hostel was lovely and warm, with fine beds, sofas, and a small but well-equipped kitchen. I even spotted washing machines, so it has what a tired traveler or pilgrim needs. The man running it was incredibly helpful. He told us the shop was closed but we could get groceries at the petrol station, then cycled with us to show us the way, waited outside, and rode back with us to the hostel. Thanks so much, highly recommended.

A peaceful place to get a good night's sleep, with a friendly manager. The kitchen and dining room are good, and the albergue is very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. One of the best on the Vía de la Plata. I'd recommend it without hesitation.

Great albergue in a quiet spot, so it's easy to get a good night's sleep. It has all the facilities you'd need, including washing and drying, plus drying racks if you'd rather wash things yourself. There's even a gadget for drying shoes.

The rooms are warm and very clean, and the kitchen has a stove, toaster, microwave, and fridge. Breakfast is worth the money. Roberto was a fantastic host, thank you for being so welcoming. This is a truly amazing albergue on the Via de la Plata!
