The location is ace. We haven't needed a taxi, and you can get to all of Benidorm within an hour to an hour and a half on foot, with time for a beer in the sun along the way. The only small issue was that the shower is a bit too open and water can wet the floor, though there are plenty of towels. Staff were friendly and helpful, and kindly arranged some birthday bubbles for us. I'd expected a few compromises because we'd secured such a good price, but everything looked in good order, with nothing worn or broken. Reception is clean, bright and airy, with a well-stocked bar and lifts to every floor. I think reception needs to give you a key to use the separate lift from street level. If we return to Benidorm, I don't think we'll consider another place. It's rated three stars but feels close to four. Honestly, I've stayed in four-star hotels of much poorer quality.

There are plenty of cafes, bars and shops nearby, and the old town location is excellent, just up from the promenade and down from KFC. There are steps to the front door, but a little farther along, a street-level lift provides wheelchair access. The room was spotless, and the good-sized shower room had been newly refurbished. The TV had a couple of BBC channels, and the free Wi-Fi connected easily. Breakfast had lots to choose from, though I had to heat mine in the microwave because I like it much warmer. I'd definitely come back, but next time I'd book a room with a view, since our tiny window faced internal walls. I'd bring a travel kettle too.

A lovely little gem, very clean and well located, though it could be noisy in high season. Try for a room on one of the top two floors, as some have great sea views.

We had a superior double room, and the beds were so comfortable. The hotel was spotless and the staff very pleasant. Bed and breakfast was a satisfying option. It's five minutes from the beach and five minutes the other way from the old town restaurants. Fab hotel, and we'll definitely return.

Our terrace had an amazing view of the beach, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We stayed bed and breakfast and couldn't fault it. The hotel is lovely and very clean, right in the middle of everything, with shops and bars close by. We'll definitely be back.
