If you’re checking in outside working hours, watch out for an email or text from an unofficial address or number asking you to pay a deposit through a link. They wouldn’t let me in when I refused to send money before arriving, even though I’d already paid. To avoid being scammed, contact the platform you booked through and sort it out with them.

There were six of us in the apartment for some upcoming birthday celebrations, and it was very clean with no issues. It had plenty of room, with one double bed, two singles, and a sofa bed, plus an ensuite and a second bathroom, which was really helpful for six people. Air conditioning was in the living room and main bedroom. We lost power a couple of times, but after we called the WhatsApp number, they gave us instructions and we had it sorted within minutes. It sounds like overloading the sockets with hair dryers and straighteners happens quite often. The pool was fantastic, clean, and well looked after by staff. It opened at 10 am, and sunbeds cost €3 a day. The location was all right, though it’s a walk to the beach and a bit far from places like Cafe Benidorm, our favourite nighttime spot. We’d stayed at Gemelos 22 before, so we knew the location.

We slept well here because it was very quiet at night, and I’d definitely stay again. The apartments are private, so random people can’t just gatecrash. It’s a residential building, so pets are allowed, but not around the pool. The pool and sunbathing areas are great, with plenty of places to lie down even if people are waiting to claim sunbeds. Loungers cost €3 each. The beach is a ten-minute walk, and bars and restaurants are close for a night out. Rooms are standard, clean, and have air conditioning. In a two-bedroom apartment, the smaller bedroom doesn’t have AC, but reception gave me a fan when I asked.

This is our happy place, and we come three or four times a year. We love it so much that we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The reception ladies go above and beyond, and Mohammad by the pool puts your safety and interests first. No stag groups, just lovely people greeting you with “Ola” or “buenos dias,” wherever you’re from. Great rooms, a great pool, and a great place to stay. We love it.
