The place had everything we needed, from the washer and dryer to extra towels and all sorts of kitchen utensils. We even had hot and cold pools and a jacuzzi. Getting through the grounds and then into the building was a hassle at first, but after we got the keys it was all fine. Easily the nicest apartment we've stayed in, and we'd definitely come back.
There's loads of room in the apartments, and they're well equipped. The pool area is spacious and kept in great shape, with plenty of holiday rentals around, so it works well for tourists. The beach is right nearby, which is a brilliant location. The building has modern facilities, too. Pool security can be a little strict at times, and the gym is basic, though decent.
The apartment was comfortable, very clean, and matched the photos. It had plenty of storage and useful things like crockery, a toaster, coffee maker, and smart TV. The beds were comfortable, and we had no delays with the lifts. We spent 14 nights there with family in June 2025. Booking directly through KalmaRent was easy, and getting into the apartment on arrival was straightforward without collecting keys from an agent. The owner was professional from the start and flexible about what we needed. Sunset Waves had good facilities, including nice pools, lots of loungers and umbrellas, and sports options such as a gym. We had a really good stay and would happily return.
The apartments themselves were nice, but the stay was awful. There were noisy construction sites all around, working from 7:40 am to 7 pm six days a week, and the main pool was closed. Another high-rise is about to go up right next door, so I'd avoid these apartments for at least two years.
Nice place, but getting in wasn't very straightforward.
