The Sierra de Guadalest is beautiful, and the people there are very friendly. The apartment, though, was the worst place I’ve ever stayed. It didn’t meet basic hygiene and health standards, especially for anyone travelling with children. Filth was everywhere, from the fridge and oven to the toaster and extractor fan, and beyond. I’d rather let the photos show it. Best apartment ever!!! Dirty from corner to corner.

The pool is lovely, and the views are breathtaking. The apartment is beautiful and spotless, which matters a lot to me since we travel with our young daughter, who has many food allergies, and need to cook for ourselves. I was glad to find everything we needed in perfect condition. The surroundings are spectacular. This was our second visit, and we’ll be back many more times.

We spent 15 days here as a family. It’s a beautiful place, with a lovely pool for cooling off, and the location is unbeatable if you’re into cycling. It’s highly recommended for a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle.
