Málaga Inn

The young woman at reception was the best part of the stay. She was very friendly, and I understand she’s from America and has been there about three years. I can’t recommend the place, sadly, and it’s overpriced. The room had just about enough space for the double bed, with only 100mm/4ins between it and the wall. The wall-mounted fan was useless in a room the size of a cell block H. There was a sink with a cold water tap and a missing shelf, though the brackets were still mounted. No towel, and none visible anywhere. Why? Anyone with even a slight disability shouldn’t book here. The route from the train station is uphill, and the property isn’t mobility usable. It’s recently been painted all white inside, including the bathroom tiles.

For 20 euros, my single room was exactly what I needed. I only stayed one night, and everything was clean with really friendly staff. You get what you pay for, and at that price it was perfect. Don’t be put off by the other reviews. Lots of love.

Málaga Inn turned out to be a funny experience. I like staying somewhere local when I travel, like a hostel or pension, and this place is cheap, more or less cheerful, and even serves breakfast 😅. The reception and welcome can be a bit flexible, so be ready for that. I wouldn’t tell anyone not to go, though. It saved my life. Just book online through Trivago or somewhere similar.
