Hotel Baladrar

Rabbi was a charming, welcoming host at Hotel Baladrar. He put a lot of effort into making us an excellent vegetarian meal, and breakfast was top quality too. We had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

We booked late and stayed just one night before taking over a villa the next day, but had a marvelous time. All the staff made us feel very welcome. The food was great, and the rooms were spacious and spotless, with fantastic views. It was all very affordable. Many thanks to Rabbie and everyone, we’ll be back.

We chose Hotel Baladrar as a good finish for our planned coastal walk from Calpe, and it was perfectly placed. After the rather uniform experience of larger hotel chains, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm, personal hospitality from everyone here. The four of us are vegetarian, and we left dinner to the kitchen’s creativity. It worked out very well, with a decent meal and plenty of wine for all. The terrace has lovely views across the sea to El Peñón de Ifach. Clean rooms, great service, amazing views, and good value. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend it.

Dinner at the Baladrar Hotel felt as satisfying as your mother’s Sunday roast. There wasn’t a printed menu, at least none that I saw, and I’m not even sure there is one. They simply asked whether I wanted fish or meat. I picked meat and got delicious slices of veal with cognac, cream, worcestershiresauce, and mushrooms. The hotel has only six rooms, but they’re perfectly fine and very spacious, with a great view of the Ifach of Calpe. Prices are very affordable. Highly recommend!
