La Sitja

The room was spacious, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and we loved the balcony and jacuzzi. They’d even left bath salts, rituals, gummy bears, and two bottles of water. The views were spectacular, especially from our room over the spa terrace, but we couldn’t use the spa because we were told we had to give two days’ notice. That wasn’t mentioned on the website. We weren’t even allowed to sit on the terrace, though we would have paid. There’s no fridge, and there’s very little nearby: one bar/cafetería, one pizzeria, and the hotel restaurant. The hotel is in a quiet location, though we did hear a lot of highway noise. It was pleasant, but for the price there wasn’t anything special about it. We probably wouldn’t return, and might not have booked if we’d known the spa was closed to us.

The owners are really friendly and always help with any questions. They cook themselves, and the food is very good. It’s a nice little hotel, and I can recommend it.

The restaurant food is good, though the service felt inflexible. Our room, 106, faced the A7, and the highway noise along with dogs barking kept things noisy at night. The hotel has a modern design, but it felt like it had no heart or soul. Staff seemed uninterested.

Badly located and with no frills, really no anything. I definitely wouldn’t stay there again.
