They cancelled our hotel reservation on the day we were due to arrive, saying we hadn’t told them we were bringing a dog. We had clearly mentioned it on the booking form, and they hadn’t contacted us at all before that day. We can only assume they’d overbooked and found a way to make it our fault.

A warning for anyone renting an apartment in Flamingo Hills: our holiday apartments were broken into today while we were downstairs, around midday between 10 am and 13 pm. There were about 15 of us gathered there, and we had rented all three floors. The doors were shut and locked, but someone still got in upstairs and even broke into the safety boxes. The police are involved. Please help each other watch for anything suspicious in the area.

The apartment was spacious and nicely equipped, with a lovely infinity pool. From its high position there are good views. It's a shame the restaurant and bar still aren't finished.

There were six of us, and we had plenty of space in this fantastic apartment. It has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen and a lounge overlooking the old town. The views and pool are amazing, and shops and restaurants are nearby.
