We stopped in for the lovely terrace and its stunning views, and found the food and service were good too. It’s a calm, charming spot. If you’re visiting a town in Lower Aragon, I’d recommend making a stop here.

We were staying at the inn next door for the weekend, but didn’t come back here. The bar was closed, and the streets had a strange feel to them. People seemed rather rude and haughty.

The dinner was a letdown. I ordered pork loin with potatoes for €12 and got just one piece of pork loin. We’d ordered whole sandwiches, but the halves we were served were the same size and cost less. Even so, the bill came to €80. It felt like a rip-off, and the place leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe being the only bar there has something to do with it, but I won’t be back for lunch or dinner. Before that, I’d booked a double room online. The day before, Mariela called to say the website had sold more rooms than were available, and offered a triple room for €70 extra, taking the price from €207 to €280. I said it wasn’t my fault and asked her to give me the triple room for what I’d paid for the double. She said no. The day before we were due to arrive, I told her I couldn’t do it because it wasn’t in my budget. In the end, my family and I went to a house instead.
