A lovely, friendly place. Nothing luxurious, just nice, clean, and central.

The stay was a disaster, and thank goodness it was only one night. The shower was awful, there was no air conditioning, and the room was unbearably hot in the middle of summer. I’d have given fewer stars if I could. You’d be more comfortable finding somewhere in the mountains. Breakfast at Bar Ainoa the next day was just as bad. The waiter and waitress were terrible, and nobody properly explained what was included when we arrived. There were two adults and two children, and I ordered four portions of toast and two coffees. We waited while people who came in after us got their breakfasts and left. I went back in and asked the waitress for coffee, but she ignored me. I thought it might come with the toast, which never arrived. When my husband and I asked a third time what was going on, she told us to relax because we were on vacation. We were furious and complained. She asked if we weren’t going to have breakfast, so we had to leave without it. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

It was a peaceful place to relax, and we had a wonderful time. Service was excellent, the cleanliness was quite good, and the restaurant food was delicious. The shower could use improvement, and we were a little cold, though that’s to be expected in December ☺️.
