Spain is a wonderful country with plenty to offer, but our visit to this restaurant was a very poor experience. The treatment we received was completely unacceptable, and the service was far below standard right from the start. It's the worst experience I've ever had, and I won't go back.

She went through everything with us before we chose, which was really nice. The service was lovely, and the restaurant itself is nice too. Be sure to try their salad and these dishes!

We had breakfast out on the terrace and enjoyed it. The restaurant menu was available in English, which we appreciated. The hotel is in a lovely rural setting overlooking the church, with a supermarket and restaurants nearby. Getting our heavy bags inside was a real struggle. We're traveling for several months and have big bags, and there are steps up to the hotel with no lift, so we had to carry everything to reception and then upstairs. The shower was tiny, barely enough space to turn around, though you could sit and use the spa jets if that's your thing. A delightful place, but those practical details were difficult for us.

Good location, and the service was friendly when I stopped for a lovely coffee at 1.50. I went back that night for a glass of white wine, but €3 felt expensive. There were no tapas.

I haven't stayed at the hotel, though I've seen the rooms and they look very nice and clean. Everyone I know speaks well of it. The restaurant and bar are very good too, with good food and excellent, friendly service. It's in a quiet spot with a beautiful church across the way. Parking can be difficult, which is why I'd give it four stars. Still, it's well worth a visit for the lovely views and streets, and for tapas and other food in the area. The castle is behind the hotel restaurant, so don't forget to visit it. 👍
