The room and bathroom were clean and good quality for the price, but the mattress was really uncomfortable. With no aircon, we had to keep the window open, and the bright lights and traffic outside made it hard to sleep. There’s a train station a minute away, with trains to the city centre every ten minutes. Plenty of free parking nearby as well.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the train station is close by, with a ride of under ten minutes to the city centre. It’s a standard place and makes sense if you’re driving, since parking in Bilbao is difficult and it’s not so bad here. The one issue for me was a smoky smell in the room. It wasn’t there when we first arrived because the doors and windows were open. Later, after the room had been closed all afternoon, we came back late at night and could smell it.

It’s extremely cheap and clean, and the location between Bilbao and Santurtzi is handy, with a Renfe cercanías station right outside. It’s also next to lutxana. The receptionist was so friendly, and I enjoyed chatting with her.

The train station is very close, right around the hotel, and there’s a kitchen guests can use, which is handy for a light breakfast at no charge. My room was a good size, though being near the road meant noise from traffic or noisy neighbors. I was travelling alone but was given two single beds, which made sleeping uncomfortable. Reception is open only from 9am to 10pm.
