The hotel’s central spot by the river made things easy for our group, especially with small children. Restaurants in the old town were an easy walk away, and the cafeteria had decent lunch and dinner choices. Breakfast had plenty of options, including healthy ones, and the rooms were clean and as described. We brought nearly 60 guests for a project meeting for a large EU project. The staff were responsive and cooperative, and the event went very well. Nekane deserves special thanks for going out of her way to make both the meeting and our stay work for us. She even offered to babysit, and our children loved being with her. We heard no complaints from the nearly 50 partners who stayed here, which meant a lot to us. The rooms had a coffee machine, a kettle, and a nice bath, and the hotel is well placed for seeing the city and the surrounding area. The woman at reception who welcomed us on Friday 27.2. was so kind and helpful. Special thanks to her.

Mdm Itziar Calderón, the Front Office Manager, deserves special thanks. She was professional, considerate, and very helpful, and made our stay stress-free whenever we needed assistance. We spent 8 days at Hesperia Bilbao during a rainy November and found the experience satisfying and enriching. More greenery and a wider breakfast menu would improve things. If the hotel ever takes on a full facelift, I think it could attract even more guests. Keep up the good work, and we hope to see an even better Hesperia Bilbao next time.
