Petit Palace Arana

The breakfast was great, with a good selection of delicious food for a very reasonable price. We had a lovely stay and hope to return one day. Our quadruple room was a great size, the beds were super comfortable, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The hotel is perfectly placed near restaurants, bars, and shops, and within walking distance of the Guggenheim museum and the Funicular train.

A lively old town spot right next to the metro, in a brilliant location. The hotel was clean, the staff polite and helpful, and the buffet breakfast was varied and great. It isn’t luxury, but it was scrupulously clean 😋

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and they arranged for Cava to be left in the room as a birthday surprise for my partner. A lovely touch. The room was a good size with a luxury bathroom, and the hotel is perfectly located in central Bilbao. Definitely recommend it, and I’ll return next time I visit beautiful Bilbao!

I don't expect a hotel to impress me with food or decor. I just need to be able to sleep, and that didn't happen here. The corridor's old floorboards creaked so loudly on the first night that even earplugs didn't help. There was also a huge gap under the door, letting in so much light that we stuffed towels around the frame. Then the shower blocked up, and water spread across the bathroom and bedroom. At 11 p.m., I spent 20 minutes mopping it up. Breakfast was nice, though it was served in an attic with no view or balcony. That's a small thing on its own, but it added to the disappointment. The hotel is cute, well located, and the staff seemed nice. I know it's not an expensive place, but still.
