We came from the US for a vacation and chose this hotel because it was central to the train station and within walking distance of lots of places. Our top-floor terrace apartment was huge compared with other European hotels I've stayed in, and it had a large glass shower. The kitchen was fully equipped, though we didn't cook. The fridge and microwave came in handy for reheating leftovers for breakfast. They only left coffee for the first day, but there's a grocery store less than 50 meters away where you can get just about anything. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Even though we were about half a mile from Plaza Mayor, we couldn't hear a peep. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

JJ, who worked days, and Omar on the night shift were both so welcoming and helpful. They shared lots of good insights about Madrid, and we really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for us, with plenty of restaurants, historic sights, and public transport within walking distance around the Plaza Mayor area.

The apartment was a little small, but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and it was cleaned every day. The staff were friendly and helpful too. The location is the real selling point: sights, shops, the metro, everything we needed was just a 5-6 minute walk away. We loved staying here.

It's on a quiet side road in a really convenient location. The staff were very helpful, and the rooms were reasonably clean and had everything needed for a short stay.

Our plans changed, so my husband and I booked a night at Plaza Mayor. The building and room were impressively clean when we arrived. We like to sleep with the AC on, and it worked great here. The shower pressure was fantastic, like standing under a waterfall. JJ at the front desk was very kind and personable whenever we saw him. He also helped sort out a problem we were having with the rental car place. It was a wonderful stay, and we'll definitely book here again when we return to Madrid.
