I love this little corner. Nice place to sit on the steps at night and have a drink.

I love being able to take in the city’s gay social scene here. People seem much friendlier and things more organized than in other countries. It’s a great place to warm up with friends or meet random people before heading to a club or bar. In summer, there are big concerts with local drag queens and other singers. Hotels, guesthouses, hostels, restaurants, pharmacies, and cafés surround the square.

I bring my dog here every evening so she can see her friends and run around. It’s great for that, with a couple of terraces open throughout the year and plenty of people to watch. Sometimes there are drunk people and the mess they leave behind, but otherwise it’s great.

A good place to relax in the sun, grab a quick bite from one of the local street food spots, and watch people. It’s close to Gran Via and Calle de Fuencarral, so shopping is nearby too.
