Cala Bona - Inh 27251

This is a beautiful, sheltered cove, so the water stays clear and it’s great for snorkeling around the bay. The larger sand is easy to brush off your skin and towel, which is really handy. There’s a restaurant on the beach, plus free toilets and showers.

Cala Sant Francesc was easily one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve visited in Spain, and it more than made up for Blanes, which honestly wasn’t for us. It’s one of my top three so far. The water is crystal clear, with a gorgeous landscape around it. The beach is small and made up of very fine pebbles rather than sand, so water shoes would make it more comfortable. There’s also a lovely little path along the coast. You can get there easily by car, though that also means it can be crowded, even on weekdays. Showers, toilets, and a café are right on the beach.

The water is clear, there aren’t big waves, and it doesn’t get deep too quickly. On the right side there’s a smaller cove with amazing water that’s suitable for kids. You can also hike either way to other places. The beach itself is a nice cove in a good spot, but it has small pebbles instead of sand, with bigger ones in the water. Sunbeds and umbrellas were €2 each for two hours at the start of June. There’s parking, though not many spaces. We arrived at 16:00 and could hardly find a spot. Parking is free until July.

You can rent a sunbed and umbrella for €2 per hour each, and there’s a restaurant right by the sea serving local Spanish food. The beach is surrounded by mesmerizing rocks, with clear water and a picturesque setting. It’s easy to reach from upstairs, and there’s free parking nearby.
