The house was clean, the service was good, and there was firewood. Kitchenware was basic but enough for eight people, and the beds were narrow but comfortable. It's a nice base for visiting Riaño, 8 km away, where you'll find three bars, a shop, a tobacconist, and a bakery. Very good stay, and I'd come back.

For a group of eight, this house is good value. The bedrooms all have their own bathrooms, and the living room is decent. There's also a small garden with a little barbecue, fine for eating outside when the weather cooperates. The kitchen is on the small side, and some utensils, especially the toaster, could do with an update. The coffee maker is a bit of a nuisance if you drink a lot of coffee. One thing to know: the landlord lives upstairs.

We stayed a couple of years ago. The house itself was nice, clean, and cozy, but some things really needed attention. The pillows felt like a thin sheet stuffed into a case, and the Wi-Fi was painfully bad. Worst of all, the extra bed collapsed when someone lay down, so you could end up on the floor in the middle of the night. Kitchen equipment was poor too, as though guests are expected to eat out all the time. And it seems contradictory for the owner to complain about wildlife when so many travelers come here to see it. That could cost the business.

We'd choose this house again. It's cozy and reasonably priced, about 10 minutes from Riaño and very close to the villages of La Reina. There were four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and the kitchen was fully equipped, including a dishwasher. It also had a washing machine and dryer, plus a barbecue and supplies like charcoal and detergent.
