The family running this place were so kind and humble. They took great care of us, especially after I injured my leg, and made our stay feel warm and comfortable. They’re proud of Santillana del Mar and happy to share information about the town and nearby area. They also made sure we had proper meals, and arranged for someone to be at the recording early in the morning so we could have coffee before leaving. The rooms are old, but spacious, bright with natural light and extremely clean. Wi-Fi in the rooms isn’t great, as it seems intended for the common areas. There’s free parking, which is handy because parking in town can be a hassle. The hotel is close to downtown, but far enough away to enjoy some quiet, away from the crowded center, especially in summer.

A pleasant, peaceful hotel, but breakfast was very limited: bread with margarine, not even butter, plus jam, coffee and milk.
