The location was fantastic, and the staff were really helpful and friendly. We stayed there during our April 25 motorcycle tour, five of us sharing three double rooms. Breakfast and dinner were both fantastic. I’d happily recommend this hotel.

We had a superb meal at the restaurant, one of the best of our tour. The suckling lamb shoulder was especially memorable and easy to recommend. The garden was a nice place to relax, and the bar had a good wine selection. Staff were friendly and the location was great. There’s no secure bike parking, but that didn’t seem like much of a concern in the area. Our rooms overlooked the bikes, which helped if we got a bit paranoid.

The inside was fine, though the hotel exterior looked a little scruffy and could use some work. We arrived without a booking and were checked in quickly and efficiently. Our room and bathroom were both a very good size. Dinner had a large menu and generous portions, with excellent service throughout. Breakfast was good too, served at the table. Prices came in lower than we expected. The hotel’s location at the end of the reservoir was good.

The owners were really nice and helped me with my very poor, though improving, Spanish. I stayed four nights at the beginning of May for a Picos motorbike tour. The hotel was very clean inside and out, and the rooms were spacious with a lovely shower. They were biker friendly and kept our bikes out back where a camera could see them. There was a nice bar and good food, and the room price wasn’t bad.
