No frills, but great for the price. It's cheap, basic, and clean, with a friendly host. Had a cool, quiet room and a peaceful night's sleep. Bars and restaurants are close, and the port and bus stop are about 10 minutes away.

The receptionist was fantastic, ten out of ten. The hostel was very clean and fairly quiet, and I felt good about my stay. One drawback: there's no wheelchair access. It's a pity, and I think older people may also find getting in difficult because there's no elevator, even though the hostel is on the first floor.

I left a day early because of a safety concern, and staff tried to blackmail me. They also didn't give me an invoice for the night I stayed. The hostel didn't meet basic safety requirements in my view: the only socket in room 105 was beside the washbasin and shower. Water splashes could wet it and cause a short circuit, and the humidity even stopped my phone charger from working.

It was fine.
