I remember the family atmosphere most of all, along with the lovely smell and the simple, cozy rooms. Years ago, I stayed at this wonderful place and still remember the aroma of the lemon verbena cake Maria's husband makes.

The owner was warm and welcoming, and suggested places to visit that weren’t in the Rough Guide. Our room had a small kitchenette, which was very handy, and everything was spotless with comfortable bedding. We spent a few days at the hotel and had an excellent stay. I highly recommend it and would book here again if we get the chance to return.
