Aldea Calma

The Michelin-star restaurant on site really completes the stay at Aldea Calma in Sanxenxo. The setting is gorgeous, and the pool and jacuzzi make it easy to switch off. A spectacular place, and one I won't forget. Highly recommend it.

We came for dinner and ended up discovering a lovely place. The food was exquisite, and the decor is beautiful, but the attentive team made the evening especially nice. Our waiter even translated every dish for my partner, and his descriptions made each one come alive. We also got to look around the grounds. Everything seemed so pretty and well cared for that we plan to return in summer to try them out. Thanks for such warm hospitality, you made our evening wonderful. ✨

The jacuzzi was wonderful, though we couldn't use it in the morning because the water took too long to heat up and we were short on time. It would be great if it were hot from the spa's opening time. Everything was spotless and very well maintained, and the whole team was lovely, from receptionist Luise to the woman serving breakfast. The concept felt unique to me, and it's a great place to unwind. That "double breakfast" was incredible, every bit of it delicious. I wish I could have one every day! We'll definitely come back. 💙

What stayed with us most was the chakra alignment and sound bath workshops with Vicky. In that natural setting, with the river, birds, wind in the trees, and sunshine around us, the experience felt like an inner journey. We left renewed. Vicky's calm voice and teachings made it special, helping us notice our blockages and find balance. She's full of light and a genuine guide. The rest of Aldea Calma has the same thoughtful feel. The pool has carefully chosen views, and the colors and shapes throughout make each space a discovery. Rooms are full of holistic details and symbolism, suited to a conscious, patient traveler who likes to savor the moment. The welcoming reception and warm restaurant also made us feel at home. Each dish is made by hand daily, following a healthy, holistic approach. Aldea feels like coming home and leaving refreshed.
