We’ve stayed at Casa de la Luz in Bubion several times and have always had a lovely time. The owners are so friendly and do their best to make each stay enjoyable, and the area is great too. A small-business note from us: if you book through an agency for a special holiday weekend instead of directly with the owners, please be sure you’re committed. These little holiday homes are real gems. Cancelling shortly before the weekend means you miss out on a great place, and it also lets down the owners and another family who might have wanted to book it.

Janny and Manuel gave us a warm welcome and lots of ideas for places to visit. The apartment was comfortable, fully equipped, and had lovely views. There’s a supermarket just a few minutes away, with places to eat and drink nearby. We stayed for a lovely week. The area is stunning and well worth exploring, with the apartment ideally placed for the Poqueira Valley, La Alpujarra, and beyond. There are walks right from the doorstep, and it’s easy to spend a day on the coast or in Granada.

We spent the rainy spells playing games by the fireplace, with a few short excursions in between. It’s a lovely base, with wonderful views, restaurants close by, and a shop just a few steps away.

The owners were very friendly, and the apartment had lovely views. We enjoyed our holiday and the good food at nearby restaurants. It’s an excellent place to stay in Bubion, and we’d like to come back another time. Recommended. Greetings from Holland.

The house is small but full of charm, and the terrace is a wonderful spot for sunset. I stayed with two friends last October, though lack of time and a bit of laziness have delayed this review until now. The owners were really helpful, especially with our trip to Granada. They told us how to get there and where to park and eat. Thank you for everything, we had a wonderful stay.
