Four Seasons Hotel Madrid

We came to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and the room arrangements and personal touches made it feel really special. Thank you especially to Lucia, Front Desk Manager. Almudeina on the Concierge team also went out of her way to give us great recommendations and even found Real Madrid scarves for match day. We really appreciated that. Yassine at Breakfast gave us outstanding service, and Raoul from Concierge was fantastic too. Thanks also to the French sommelier at ISA, whose name I unfortunately can't remember, and to the whole ISA and Reception teams. Both restaurants were excellent, and the spa and gym are definitely worth a visit. From the lovely room to the impeccable service, the whole stay exceeded our expectations and made the anniversary memorable.

The location was a real plus, close to downtown and convenient for getting around central Madrid. But the service was the worst I've experienced at a Four Seasons anywhere in the world. The welcome cheesecake in our room had already been eaten when we arrived, which was extremely annoying. Street noise came through the poorly insulated room every night, and it woke us at 5am each morning. We also weren't told that breakfast wasn't included in our booking. We only found out when we asked on our last day, after we could have made other breakfast plans. That was very unpleasant.

We had a good time on our second Madrid visit from Miami. The room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was good, and we liked the location and lovely lobby. My only complaint is that some staff could be friendlier.

The buffet had the classics, including scrambled eggs and pancakes, along with fresh pastries. Everything was tasty and well prepared, and breakfast was enjoyable.
