Balcon Del Pirineo Rural Ordesa

We had a relaxing stay, and the staff were friendly. The place is right at the end of the road, with great views from many of the units, and there’s a nice little kitchen for making basic meals plus a restaurant on site. It’s a rural place that serves its purpose, so I’d give it 4/5 rather than expect luxury. A few things need renovating: our shower head kept falling off, the windows were hard to open and needed grease, and the curtain fell off. They fixed the curtain right away when we mentioned it.

There are other places in town with similar food for less money. We reserved here but didn’t stay for the meal. Only a small part of the place really feels like a restaurant, and the great views are limited to three spots. €62 for a kilo of meat isn’t expensive for the amount you get, but unfortunately you’re paying extra for the view.

The meat was tender and the food was good. I’ve had meat of the same quality for less at other restaurants, so I assume you’re paying for the view here too. Service seemed very slow at first, maybe because they were understaffed, but once we were seated it was quick.

Both waiters spoke English well, and the service was very good and quick. The portions were generous, and the meat was tasty. One of the best restaurants in the area, definitely recommended. Keep up the good work, we’ll come again! 👍👍👍
