I had another hotel arranged after this place told me, less than 24 hours before my arrival, that it couldn't process payment for my reservation. They had accepted my credit card and booking in advance. My bank confirmed the card was fine and the hotel hadn't even tried to charge it. The hotel said reception was only open for a few hours each day and wouldn't be available when I arrived, so I would have to cancel. It’s low season in Burgos now, so I found another hotel without payment problems. That may not be possible in a few weeks when high season begins. I understand hotels need payment in advance, but they should have systems that work instead of making the customer solve their problem. I can only assume they were overbooked and found it easy to cancel a solo traveler. As a pilgrim, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone doing the Camino, especially solo female travelers. We need a reliable place to stay, and Burgos has good alternatives.

A clean room and a great location, and the reception staff speak English. The room is very small, though, and breakfast isn't worth it. Parking costs 12 euro, so it's probably better to look for public parking. Fine for a one-night stay.

This was my best stay on the Camino. As a pilgrim, I needed a bit of comfort, and this hotel delivered. Stephanie, the manager, was always smiling and helpful. There was a hot shower, a heater in the room, and breakfast costs 7e. Lots of places to eat within five blocks.

For a one-star hotel, this was a good room. It was very clean, with a very good bed and a surprisingly nice bathroom with a big shower. The floor was worn, but fine. The hotel is small, with only a few rooms, and its location in the closest neighborhood to the cathedral can't be beaten. Breakfast was basic but okay, and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

We were welcomed so kindly by the friendly host, and the clean, cosy room was perfect for a good night's sleep right in the centre of Burgos. I recommend it and will definitely return.
