For the price, I didn’t think it was particularly good value. The place was clean and acceptable, but the rooms are very small, noisy, and the interior looks worn. There’s no air conditioning, which I’d missed when booking, and the fire alarm went off during the night.

We found plenty of free parking around the hostel, and there was no noise at night. There’s a friendly night bar right next door. Pets are allowed too. Our room was small but pleasant, with a good bed and shower, fresh linen, and soap. There’s also a shared space on our floor where you can have your own breakfast, with a microwave and other things available. We stopped here for a night on our return trip, and the person on the phone was very pleasant and spoke fluent English. It was a nice experience for us.

The owner’s husband or brother helped us a lot, which I appreciated. Still, after they showed me one room, I booked and was given a different one, and it was very small. Unfortunately, we didn’t stay.

Brilliant rooms at a great price, and the people are the best. It’s so close to the Espolon and all the wonders of my favourite city in the world. I never stay anywhere else in Burgos!
