We managed to sleep there for two nights, shower and watch TV, but we won’t return. There was noise from other rooms and cigarette smell coming from them, even though smoking was prohibited. The bathroom was very old, the beds and pillows were uncomfortable, and some of the lights didn’t work.

We found bed bugs in the bed and had to leave in the middle of the night. The hostel doesn’t open until 3:00 PM the next day. I contacted them to ask for a refund, but all they said was “thanks for letting us know” and offered a “20% discount on our next booking.”

Bed bugs turned up in our bed in the middle of the night. Nobody was available to help between 11:30 pm and 3:00 pm the next day, so we had no one to call. We had no choice but to leave at 2:00 am and face a five-hour drive home. When we called to report it, they just thanked us. We complained because we’d lost the night and had to leave in the middle of it, and they offered a 20% discount if we wanted to stay at their hotel next time. Disgraceful!

It was boiling in the room, with no airflow, and the floor was covered in dust. The front door slammed so loudly that it shook the whole place, and it was opening and closing constantly. I paid 45 euros, but the room was tiny and nothing like the photos.

We booked through Booking.com, then asked to move the reservation to the next day for personal reasons. They offered no option or solution and chose to keep the full reservation amount instead of suggesting an alternative. Very poor of them, and the staff were dishonest.
