Apartamento Sagrada Familia

We picked Hotel Catalonia Sagrada Familia for its convenient airport connection, and El Clot–Aragó station is only a few minutes away. The Renfe train takes about 30 minutes to the airport, which was really useful both when arriving and leaving. We also got a welcome glass of cava on arrival, a small gesture that made a lovely start to our Barcelona stay. It's about a 15-minute walk to Sagrada Familia, in a quiet area that's still well connected by public transport. The staff were kind and attentive, ready with information and recommendations. Our room was impeccably clean, with daily cleaning that added to our comfort and peace of mind. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, with fresh food, good coffee, and enough choice to keep it interesting over several days. A pleasant atmosphere, reliable service, and very good value for money. We'd be happy to return.

Aleix at reception really made the stay for us. He knew the city and transport links well, mapped out where we needed to go, and gave us great restaurant recommendations. He made us feel so welcome. The rooms were huge and very comfortable, a lovely place to come back to, and the bar and restaurant were great too, with plenty of options and a superb breakfast selection. The hotel sits in a great neighborhood with excellent transport links around Barcelona. Fantastic hotel and staff. We'd definitely return on our next visit.

The room was nicely air conditioned, the staff were lovely, and Nacho was very helpful. He brought our bags up and explained how things worked. It's about a five-minute walk from the train station, with good connections for the airport train and other Metro services. We didn't eat there, apart from a cheeky tiramisu, which was unfortunately a bit hard in the middle, so I can't really comment on the other food. There was a lot of work going on on our side of the hotel, with open wires hanging from the ceiling and plastering, and it spoiled the hotel's overall effect. The other hotels in the chain that we saw advertised on their TV channel looked much higher standard. As a bed to sleep in, though, it was fine.

I absolutely love it here. I was a little put off at first by the pet rules and required pet deposit, but they turned out to be reasonable. They provided a bed and magnetic feeding bowls with a mat, which made us feel welcome. The room had an extra door beyond the hallway with the washroom, adding another layer of soundproofing. There was plenty of water, a tea kettle with a nice selection of teas, and the expected things in the mini fridge. I'm definitely loyal to Catalonia hotels from now on 😍
