Hotel Buenos Aires

The room was amazing, even better than the photos, with a walk-in shower and a cool bed with LED lighting on top. The blinds worked perfectly, so set an alarm or you might sleep right through in that comfy bed with no light coming in. The staff were professional and helpful, and spoke English, Spanish, and Portuguese. We also ate really well: the strawberry salad topping with nuts was delicious, and the potatoes and beef in red wine were great, with very tender meat.

I’ve stayed at this comfortable, well-priced hotel many times and have never had a bad experience. On a recent return, check-in at reception was great, and the bar menu had a good selection of really tasty food, served with good service. On an earlier visit, the Spanish set menu was excellent value, the food came hot, and drinks were reasonably priced. The Wi-Fi has improved a lot, and the facilities are as described. Reception was great, and English was spoken.

The rooms have been completely renovated, so don’t go by the old reviews. I’ve had two great stays here. The bed was very nice, parking was easy, getting into town was straightforward, and the people were lovely.

We’re on the Camino, and having the cafe and hotel here was a welcome stop. The room is modern, stylish, and comfortable, with great beds and linen, plus a lovely new bathroom.
