Hotel Spa Paris

Aug 2025. The room and location were great while we were cycling the Camino, and they gave us lockable bicycle storage in the basement garage. The Spa was terrific, everything worked, and it was a welcome treat for our tired bodies. The food and breakfast were good, too. One bar staff member was rude, though there’s always one ;) Thank you.

Leon is wonderful, but this was the worst place we stayed on the Camino. The restaurant was okay. Our room was tiny, faced a wall over the roof, and was next to the office and service entrance. Doors slammed all night and kept us awake. That was their idea of going “out of their way” to accommodate us. The service was terrible, and the staff showed no interest in helping guests. The spa wasn’t worth 1 Euro, let alone the 15 it costs. Nothing worked, it wasn’t even hot, and it was musty and moldy, with no support from staff. I booked two hours before arriving and had obviously entered the wrong dates in December. They could have refunded the night I booked or credited the night they graciously gave us in this broom closet. I know for a fact they can ask booking.com to refund the customer. I usually forgive a lot since I own a boutique hotel, but I hope the $80 they made off us was worth it :)

The room was clean and a good size, and the reception team gave good service. The hotel is close to León Cathedral. The spa was closed for work during my visit, but I’d stay here again and recommend it.

The staff were fantastic, helpful and welcoming, and the location is hard to beat: about a two-minute walk to the cathedral, with bars and cafés all around. Our room was comfortable, and having a fridge for cold drinks was really handy. The letdown was the spa. It didn't match the photos and seemed run down, like it needed refurbishing. The hot tub wasn't hot, and the pool was too small for swimming.
