The room is very small, though there's an elevator in the building, and I'll definitely stay again. The price and location are hard to beat, right in the old city beside parking that costs €12 for hotel guests. You pay at the hotel reception in the Pancho restaurant across the lane. The A/C was quiet, effective, and comfortable. My only issues were the awkward little sink, even though there's room for a bigger one, and no kettle or coffee maker despite the full kitchen and fridge with freezer, which is unusual for a hotel.

Calle San Lorenzo is a lively street, and staying here puts you right in the middle of the action on your camino. Fantastic spot in the heart of old Burgos.

The room was spotless, very clean, and the beds were fairly comfortable. The shower door didn't shut properly, so some water got out. The location worked well for seeing Burgos, with the main sights and monuments close by, and the narrow street full of tapas bars was to my taste. The rest of the stay was frustrating. This is an aparthotel, not a hotel, though Booking.com doesn't present it that way. Parking is nearby and costs extra, despite the listing saying it has parking. Check-in was listed as 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, but after 5:00 PM a woman had already called asking when we'd arrive. I didn't complain about the five-hour gap between check-in and check-out, though I think that's wrong, but the call bothered me. When we got there, she rushed through the main door and room passwords, then handed us the light switch key card where the codes were supposed to be written. They were blurry and almost gone, so I had to stop her and ask her to wait while I wrote them down. As she left, she practically threw the card at us from the doorway. We had no receptionist for the rest of the stay. They only came back to collect payment, discard the card, and leave.

Begoña is lovely, and her service alone gets a 10/10. The rooms were very clean, the space was good for three, and we liked the place a lot. The location was amazing too. We didn't get much rest, though. I'd like to think it was because it was the patron saint's day and our window faced the epicenter of Burgos, but it was horrible. Maybe the other side of the building would've been better. I hadn't booked very far ahead, and that noise left a bad taste.

The room was very clean and had a small kitchenette with the utensils needed for a simple meal. It's on a narrow pedestrian street lined with bars and restaurants, with a great atmosphere at lunch and dinner. Central for exploring Burgos and close to all its iconic sights. Recommended for the location, cleanliness, and price.
