Encarna, the manager, is warm and attentive, and the restaurant serves delicious homemade local food. There’s a pool overlooking the dam in summer, bungalow-style rooms with two beds, and larger houses with two bedrooms and a barbecue. It’s quiet and cozy, surrounded by nature beside a reservoir in Burguillos del Cerro, about 20 minutes from Zafra, just off the Extremadura highway. The price for what you get is fantastic. Highly recommended if you’re after a relaxing getaway.

The service was excellent, and the scenery is beautiful. It’s such a peaceful place, with a pool and all the amenities you need for an unforgettable holiday. Thanks for creating this little paradise in rural Extremadura. I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve stayed here in both summer and winter. Just outside Burguillos, by the reservoir, it has separate rural houses with a big living room, kitchen, bathroom, and two bedrooms. There’s a pool, a good restaurant, and excellent service.

The staff are very attentive, and I’d give the place a ten. It’s set in a magnificent spot, peaceful, beautiful, and surrounded by nature. I’ve seen the cleaning being done, and the care they put into it is reassuring. I really appreciate that.
