Ca Lau

We just left. It was unbearably hot, with only a small wall fan for the region's climate. There was no soap or shampoo, the sheets weren't ironed and the bed had been made in a hurry. We got no personal attention, just texts and passwords to find the keys in a safe. It's a tourist apartment that rents out rooms. Finding a dirty towel in the refrigerator was worrying. There was no smoking area, and bad smells from outside came into the room. Mosquitoes still got in despite the mosquito net. There's a bloodstain on the wall where we killed one or two insects to avoid health problems. God willing, the cold I caught there won't get worse. We weren't very comfortable. Food in the town is very expensive and poor quality, and there are few places to eat. The apartment may have a kitchen, but I don't go on vacation to cook. That's why I stay home.

Laura was very friendly, and the location was ideal. Such a nice place, highly recommended.

The owner was friendly, and the place was comfortable and quiet.
