I felt looked after from the minute I arrived during my impressive eight-night stay. The room was modern, immaculate, very comfortable, and had a private bathroom. I was even invited to choose between the two available rooms, a thoughtful touch. The hosts anticipated what I might need for a longer stay and offered me a hairdryer and kettle without being asked. They were attentive throughout and made everything easy. I’d gladly return on another Madrid trip and wholeheartedly recommend the place.

Doris made a real difference to my stay at Hostal Arco Iris. She was lovely, communicated clearly, and looked after me from booking through the end of my visit. She even kept my luggage while I waited for the room to be ready. I’d never stayed in a hostel before and was nervous, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was clean, the atmosphere was friendly, and the location couldn’t be better. My private room was spacious and spotless, with its own bathroom and everything I needed. Even the whole place had that clean smell I appreciated. The price was very reasonable and worth it, and I’d recommend Hostal Arco Iris without hesitation.

Right in the city center, this was a decent, spotless place for the price, with caring professionals who understand what Philoxenia is about. A greeting to the lovely woman who gave me a button when I asked, then sewed it onto my trousers too.

El Retiro park is just around the corner, and Goya metro station is about a five-minute walk away. The rooms were very clean, and the towels felt soft.
