El Rincón de Burujón

The price felt excessive for the location and what you get, and some of the photos don't accurately show the place. The jacuzzi and the lights above it didn't work. The fireplace burns pellets rather than wood. Each room seems to have a different floor, and the bedroom flooring was warped from dampness.

There were plenty of useful basics provided, from shower gel, shampoo, and towels in the bathroom to kitchen roll and glasses in the kitchen. The hosts also left pastries and a carton of milk for breakfast and afternoon tea. Parking right outside the door was handy, and the house came with a huge jacuzzi, though we didn't get a chance to try it. We stayed three days as a family with a baby. The hosts put a crib in the main bedroom, but you need to bring your own crib sheets for hygiene reasons. The house needs a few repairs: the blinds don't work properly, the front door is stiff, and some old electrical outlets need an adapter for appliances. It also stays quite dark, so we had to keep the lights on even during the day. Still, I'd recommend this rural house.

That jacuzzi was spectacular, though it took us a little while to get it going. It had music, lights, towels, and a heater, and was just the right size for four. We were delighted and plan to come back next winter. There were four of us friends in the little village house, and we had a great time. It had all the comforts we needed, including a coffee maker, kitchen utensils, and a barbecue. We visited in winter, and the pellet stove kept the place warm. The hosts had left breakfast items and a bottle of water, plus videos explaining how everything worked.

The village is beautiful and so peaceful, and we had an amazing four days at the house. My grandson loved the jacuzzi, and we did too. Raquel, the owner, is a delight. We're already counting down until we can return.
