Agroturismo Iturbe

I booked through Booking.com despite my first call putting me off. I’d only asked if it was possible to get a taxi from the hotel, and the woman who answered was extremely rude, telling me I should “book somewhere else.” Later, a high fever meant I had to cancel. The service was unpleasant again, and they charged me €30 even though other rooms were available. They were no help at all. I won’t return. If they’re content to take €30 from a sick guest instead of showing basic courtesy, they can enjoy their “easy money.” I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

The big shared living room, with its fireplace and freely accessible kitchen, was awesome for spending time with friends and enjoying the rustic feel. Both the rooms and apartments are clean and comfortable. It’s a wonderful spot for unwinding and rural life, close to everything in Urdaibai. A place to visit!

Everything else was perfect, though the Wi-Fi in the room was the one downside. I’ve already reviewed this place on Booking, but I’ll say it again here: it’s definitely a great place to stay.

The woman who served us was lovely. When we asked if we could have a barbecue, she helped us with every step. We also appreciated the complimentary breakfast. The incredible views and all the nature around made for a really enjoyable stay, and although you’re on the roads for the drive, it feels short.
