We had a fantastic New Year's Eve here, thanks to the whole family. The houses are beautiful, perfectly maintained, and decorated in a lovely modern style inspired by the classic. If you're after nature, peace and quiet, exceptionally warm and attentive service, and a fair price for what's offered, this is the place.

The garden gives you a peaceful setting surrounded by nature, and the house is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, just like in the photos. It's fully equipped and very warm for winter in Galicia. A group of 11 of us celebrated New Year's Eve here, and José Manuel and his family were always on hand and so kind and attentive. They shared eggs and garden produce with us, including avocados, apples, and lemons, and gave us helpful tips about local restaurants and hiking trails. Highly recommended. You'll want to come back!

Our Christmas stay with the family, including grandparents, parents, and grandchildren, was really unpleasant. We rented two houses for 9 adults and 3 children through Booking.com, and Manolo suggested booking directly with him. We arrived on December 24th to cold houses. He said the circuit breaker would trip if we used the radiators and hob at the same time, and that kept happening because the contracted power was too low. The smaller house was freezing with our 10-month-old baby there. He kept saying he'd switch on its only radiator and it would warm up, but it didn't. He kept changing his story, trying to alter the agreed reservation price and charge more than the original Booking.com price for 3 days and 5 bedrooms. In the larger house, the upstairs has no hob and wooden floors, so every footstep carries. Manolo said the radiators weren't working and left them off so the breaker wouldn't trip, and this went on throughout our stay. The shower swung between scalding and freezing. These houses aren't prepared for cold weather or suitable for winter rentals. The larger one has no oven, and the barbecue is uncovered outside in 2°C weather. It felt like a deception.

Manolo and his family were welcoming from the start, and we enjoyed a few days at this peaceful, inviting house. It has everything needed for a good stay. Thanks, Manolo, for sharing produce from your garden with us. We'll come back.
