Las Casas de Sofía

Five couples and nine children spent New Year’s Eve here, and it worked out wonderfully. We could celebrate in the cellar while the children played peacefully in the playroom or garden. It was so comfortable. Fantastic!

The neighbors were a real problem, banging on the walls while in the garden at night. In summer and on weekends, we wanted to enjoy being outdoors, not feel like we were in an apartment. The children felt they had to hold back, and it was very uncomfortable. The barbecue was surrounded by lots of vegetation and felt dangerous to use, so all the food we’d bought for it went to waste. The facilities seemed very old: there was no water pressure in the upstairs bathrooms, and the loose bidet downstairs gave us a scare. The owner messaged us at 10:30 in the morning to remind us to leave by 12, even though we hadn’t arrived at 12 ourselves. Getting 14 people and their things packed in a rush was stressful. The first thing they should do is ask how everything is. It felt more like a large house than a country house.

The kids had a huge play area, with a foosball table, ping-pong and plenty of toys. We were traveling with a baby too, and a crib and highchair were there for us. The house was spacious, welcoming and spotless, with lovely decor. We were very happy with both the house and its owners, and would definitely come back. Many thanks to Cristina and her family.

The owner charged us for the whole house even though we weren’t using all of it, despite knowing exactly how many guests were coming. The town itself felt horrible and had no charm. The houses were clean, but the decor made it feel like being in an episode of "Tell Me About It". We won’t be back, and I can’t recommend it.
