Yolanda was such a good host, helping us out with kindness and switching between languages so we could all understand each other. We loved the two times we stayed here. The place is beautiful and well kept, and both the apartment and room were very clean. We do a lot of walking, so having the Picos trails within reach was ideal. The restaurant menu also has very good options for vegetarians. A big thank-you! =D

El Azufral made an ideal stop on my motorbike trip, and the balcony was a great place to unwind after a long day of riding. My apartment had all the essentials, including a fully working kitchen, washer, and dishes. Yolanda was a lovely host. Her English was limited, but we managed to communicate well, and I plan to stay here again. There's a small restaurant by the lobby. You need to order ahead, and dinner was lovely and quiet. The room was wonderfully peaceful, and a nearby town has everything you might need. For the price, it's hard to ask for more from this bed and breakfast. Bien Viajes.

There was an odd atmosphere when we arrived, along with a long list of rules, which was fine at first. Things turned sour at dinner when I swapped my small chair for a larger one at an unoccupied table. The waiter, who I assume was the son, shouted at me in the dining room and said that wasn't acceptable. I got the impression the mother and son who seem to run the hotel are unhappy, and that came through in the way they treated guests. I'd suggest avoiding this hotel.

The suite with the jacuzzi was spectacular, even better than we expected. We also had dinner and breakfast, and the food was really good quality. The Wi-Fi didn't work for any of us, though. I'd gladly come back and highly recommend it.
